Trying To Present Better
Getting up and presenting to a large number of people is not easy. It requires a unique skill set that might include a good memory, the ability to speak well publicly, a strong will to hold down vomit, creativity and possess a stealthy artistry in sweat camouflage.
What I do know is that there are individuals that are naturally talented at connecting with clients. I’m fortunate to work with some of them at Hart Associates.
They are those fortunate few who don’t depend on a screen or notes to captivate the audience or deliver their message. It is most certainly an art and there are people continually breaking ground on that front. Bye bye boring Powerpoint presentations.
One of my favorite authors on this topic is Garr Reynolds and he wrote the fantastic book “Presentation Zen“. If you haven’t read already, I encourage you to do. His blog presentationzen.com is also filled with some great support content.
